Build practical experience through assigned security work
Students can apply to work on cybersecurity tasks for participating startups, with an administrator coordinating applications and task assignments.
Apply with your background
The student application asks for a CV and background information. An administrator reviews applications. Approval is not automatic and does not promise a placement or employment.
Workspaces and assignment fit
Approved students may be assigned to startup workspaces. Approval for one workspace does not provide access to all workspaces. Red and Blue tasks are assigned in line with the student’s compatible track.
Follow the task instructions
Read the task instructions and use only the systems and scope authorized for that assignment. The task description sets the work expected; ask the administrator if the scope or instructions are unclear.
Submit, revise and complete
Submit a written response, files, or both. An administrator reviews submissions and may return work with a reason for revision and resubmission. Completed tasks can be reviewed on a 1–5 star scale. Startup participants see the accepted result, not drafts.
